INTERACTION WITH ANIMALS
In this activity we will work with full interaction with the animals, do not forget that each of them were rescued in different ways, reinserting them back into their natural habitat is difficult because they lost the instinct of survival, the therapy we do with each of them is called ENRICHMENT.
The enrichment of animals is based on the practice we do with them in order to improve their physical and mental well-being.
1.The first activity consists of cutting some branches that we find near the mountains for this we will use basic tools such as saws and machetes.
2.We will work in the monkeys' house decorating with branches and we will also invent some games for them. Monkeys are very curious and energetic animals.
3.the therapy that we will do with the turtles is to give them a bath and leave them very clean. The turtles are animals that live in the jungle of Peru, CUSCO is a very dry place so the turtles have another type of care, after bathing them we will massage their shells with a special oil that we have, we will also pass them in the legs and neck with a cream so that they are always rehydrated is like a day of SPA OF TURTLES.
4. THE ENRICHMENT that we will do next is with the spectacled bear for them we will work with some cardboard boxes where we will put fruits inside, bottles with yogurt, branches with vanilla or honey. the Spectacled bears are animals that live in the jungle of Peru, they feed on fruits and vegetables and their sense of smell is extremely sensitive, being between 100 to 200 times more acute than that of a dog.
5. we will feed some macaws and we will be able to take many pictures unfortunately some of them depend on humans.
6. we will feed a highly dangerous predator THE ANDEAN PUMA we will cut some chicken or meat and very carefully we will get as close as possible to see how they react.
7. We will learn a lot about the diet of animals in this activity we will have fun learning the names of some fruits in Spanish.
